I saw Darby back in 2015 for a torn ACL, PCL, and Meniscus. She did an excellent job, I am still biking, playing soccer and snowboarding 10 years later with little to no soreness.
Dr. Webb put my hip and pelvis back together after I was in a bad car crash. She spent all the time I needed with her and put me back together as much as she could.
I should have taken the clue when she told me. “ Now that you know you need a total knee replacement, you can go any where to get it”. I was referred to her by my Orthopedic Dr in my home town an hour and 1/2 away. Anyway it was the WORST experience I have ever had. Her bedside manner was cold and calloused. I woke up from surgery in the most excruciating pain I have ever had. Only to be told by the recovery nurse to quit crying, I was only making it worse. I visited Dr Webb for what turned out to be a Acute Tear Lateral Meniscus in my right knee. She was straightforward and professional and corrected my problem with outpatient surgery. Recovery was very fast and symptoms have not returned after 2 years.
After over a 3 week wait, Dr Webb “declined” my urologist’s referral. No reason was given. I have never been treated so unprofessionally by a health care provider.
Dr. Webb replaced my left knee. She is compassionate, skilled, responds well to questions, and has improved my life with the new knee.
I explained to this doctor that i can hardly walk due to my knee pain and that ive been taking ibuprofen and exercising it for 5 months, but it just keeps getting worse. Stairs aren't possible. I also explained that sometimes my knee locks up and causes me excruciating pain when I bend it. She took some xrays and told me my knee is fine and that im just overweight. Gave me a script for Ibuprofen and told me to go ride a bike. I guess she didnt listen when i said i cant bend then straighten m
Darby did both of my knee replacements and she was excellent. She's professional and knows her business. I have given her several recommendations to friends on their orthopedic needs.
