Dr. Ford is very down to earth, patient in explaining everything about your condition. Also, if surgery is indicated he goes to extra lengths to make sure that you are informed and prepared for the surgery. Dr. Ford has had two knee replacements himself so he can speak with authority about all aspects of preparation, surgery, outcome and recovery.
I am / was a patient of Dr Ford for care of a knee problem. I was impressed with Dr. Ford’s apparent concern for my care. After an attempt at conservative treatment he recommended a surgical approach. I agreed to surgery and it was scheduled for the end of the month. I shattered my ankle (Dr Ford said it was like putting a jigsaw puzzle back together) approximately 15 years ago. I asked him prior to my surgery if I’d ever be able to walk again and he said there were no guarantees, but he would do his best....and he did. Great doctor, explains everything and spends time with his patients.
Dr. Ford has never met me until surgery. But treated me so very well.
Dr Ford has taken care of me and my family with the utmost respect and empathy. He has the BEST bedside manner and went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed during my recovery. He always took his time with me and never made me feel like I was just another number. He made me feel important and I will continue to use him should I ever need orthopedic services again.
