Everything was outstanding! I am the same age as Dr. Welch so I have a lot of experience dealing with doctors. His whole business, starting with the people at the front desk, right through the caring people who examine your eyes and finally, the professional surgical staff were outstanding in the treatment I received. I am 2 weeks post cataract surgery for right eye and one week post surgery for the left eye. I have worn glasses since the age of 8. I’m now 70 and no longer need glasses except for very fine print! I saw Dr. Patail/Haines City. She sent me to Dr. Damon Welch for a questionable carcinoma. That apt took a month. I’ve been sick to my stomach with worry. After 1+ hr Damon Welch saw me for 2 minutes without introducing himself. As he walked out I asked if it’s anything of concern. He replied “We will talk about that”. I never saw him again. Went today for chalazion that I've had since April. Nothing has helped. Dr. Welch came in the room and was there for less than 5 min. He didn't listen to me at all. Totally ignored me telling him that warm compresses make things worse and lead to worsening infections. Asked me questions but didn't wait for answers. Told my husband I felt like a dog at a vet.
