dr. learned operated on my husband’s eye. He was thorough, explained everything precisely, and successfully operated. He takes the time to personally communicate the operation results and never seems rushed. personable as well.
I saw Dr. Learned the first time four years ago for a diagnosis due to a suspicious neves in my eye which turned out to be a choroid melanoma (cancer). He referred me to Stanford for further evaluation and treatment as it’s a rare cancer. Our paths would cross again less than a year later when I had an occlusion in a branch artery in my good eye! I was able to meet with Dr Learned about an IOL dislocation. He was very helpful in explaining what happened and how to rectify the problem. He was patient with all our questions and had very clear and realistic answers. By the end of our appointment we had a clear path forward. He was very helpful.
