Dr. Lai has been my daughter’s neurologist treating her multiple sclerosis. Throughout the years, he has been very upfront and transparent with us. My daughter was diagnosed in her junior year of high school. Many neurologists later, who were cold and absolutely without empathy, we lucked out with Dr. Lai. While the one and only time we actually met the Dr on the day of my kiddos surgery he seemed pleasant, the way this office and practice are run is abysmal. I tried setting up payments for our balance and was told someone would get back to me. Weeks and weeks passed and I heard nothing. Got a call today that the reason it took so long was bc my kids info had been compromised in a hack, but the 'office manager' had already sent our account to collections bc too much time had passed and we have 2 weeks to pay it. Talked for a few explained what he would do to her mole, ear ect. Told her she wouldn't want to itch it But left a bad scar and her insurance apparently isn't covering it so what a mess. Should have sent me somewhere else.
Forced me to see another dr because i didnt have covid shot, originally was there from having a headache from covid for 18 months. gabpentin is all i got over 3200mg befor i said enough
Dr Lai made many disrespectful and rude comments that were completely unprofessional.
This was the worst experience I've ever had. He basically told me to shut up and use a different ear drop and to feel free to see another Dr. I wouldn't recommend this Dr to my dog let alone another human being.
I would leave zero stars if possible. Dr. Lai performed a septoplasty to fix my nose for headaches, which I believe now the surgery was not needed. After a few years I went back for an issue with my throat, he didn't even look at my throat, instead decided to look in my nose (because he did a surgery to it) and chalked it all up to allergies. I have only seen the doctor twice, usually his PA, Jill. While his receptionist is phenomenal, his nurse lacks entire care and approach. She's cold and unwelcoming and forwardly rude. The doctor has a tendency to ramble on about a lot of things not related to your care and will talk through you. He is openly an anti-masker, which poses a threat to immunosuppressed people like myself.bI have severe sinusitis and I have been pushed to have them scraped continually, something that I have refused it every appointment. Appointments are always rushed and seems as though everyone that sees him has a deviated septum.
