Very nice and personal doctor. Explains all procedures thoroughly and encourages questions. I highly recommend him.
Aside from his clear technical competence, Dr. Kiernan seems to be able to put himself in his patient's shoes. He clearly "gets" what traumatic retinal problems can be like for the sufferer.
I had complex cataract surgery with some leftover lens fragments and Dr. kiernan was able to do a surgery to remove them and everything turned out good. He was so nice he gave me an extra mask for my family when I visit them last!
Dr. Kiernan is a great doctor and I love him! He gave me a shot that lasted three years for my diabetes in the eye before I needed another one!
This review has nothing to do with Dr. O’Brien. She was wonderful with my cataract surgery and post op too. I have tried to call the office yesterday and today. They say to push 2 for an appt or refills. I was on hold for 3 hrs yesterday without anybody coming on to say something and today I have been on hold for 3 hrs. I know it sounds crazy to be on hold that long but I wanted to see what happens. What if somebody needed a refill or to talk to the Dr. Unbelievable!!!. This has never happen before. The staff and Dr O'brien were careful with complete exam. Cataracts were noted however could not be corrected with surgery due to the developing covid-19 shutdown.
I've had nothing but a great experience with Dr. Kiernan. He is highly recommended.
I feel confident with this doctor’s care. He was patient with me. He seemed to understand my concerns and gave me a very understandable explanation of what was happening and what I could expect. The office staff was friendly, helpful and professional. I had a long visit but a lot was accomplished. I interacted with many of the staff members and I was very pleased with their care of me.
My treatment was top notch. You have an incredible staff and I appreciate you Dr. Kiernan.
