It was a terrible visit. I have visited him twice and the first went fine. The second was the most unprofessional Doctors appointment I have ever been to. He spent more time talking with his assistant about the flight upgrade and the picture of a cat his wife sent him and trying to answer my questions. he failed to remember the reason for the appointment and never addressed the issues we discussed in the first appointment. He simply referred me to a different Doctor.
My monthly injections have become much more tolerable after switching to this doctor. I have less pain and burning afterward, it helps that he has a sense of humor too.
This surgeon gave me back my sight in my good seeing eye. I thank him in my mind every morning that I can live my life as I did before I had a retinal detachment. Thank you Dr. Kiernan! I will always follow up with you and OCLI doctors! God Bless!
This doctor is extremely rude and has bad bedside manner and no compassion for older people in the process for switching doctors for my grandmother. Not to mention time from checking in till we left was a total of 3 hours this is the usual time spent in that office On numerous occasions.
My mother was recently diagnosed with macular degeneration and I didn't like the way her eye doctor made it seem like she was going blind if we didn't do what he said. We got a second opinion with Dr. Kiernan who was very professional and really gentle with my mom especially when she needed an injection. Wait time was better than at her old place, long but reasonable given the tests she had to have. I generally hate visiting the doctor but Dr. Kiernan was really nice, I highly recommend.
