Honolulu International Airport is a functional, but very outdated airport. Restroom facilities are very old and unclean. There is no free wifi nor are there charging stations like many airports now offer. (One electrical outlet per gate area is about as good as it gets.) Supposedly, there's a modernization program in the works, but over the years I've been flying into and out of this airport, I haven't noticed any of this modernization taking place. Worst airport I have ever been to in my life! No shops, tag your own bags even though u may do this completely wrong! Just awful!
