It will be hard for me not to gush or get personal in this review. He not only saved my loved one’s life and put them on a healthy path - but with his sense of humor and compassion kept me from succumbing to despair. This illness is relentless and cruel, the treatment available feels arbitrary and is still new – requiring a lot of trial and error with medication and diagnosis, and the mental health system is broken. Dr. Kostalnick is by far the best psychiatrist I have ever had throughout my mental health journey. He is very understanding, compassionate and knowledgeable, and most importantly he ADVOCATES for his clients. Not only has he helped me in finding the right medication, he has also supported me in recommending outside therapy and additional resources that have helped me immensely. I would recommend Dr. Kostalnick to anyone who is looking for professional psychiatric help, he truly is one of the best people.
