I would not recommend him to anyone. He has no care or compassion for his patients. I understand that he’s a very confident doctor, but his bedside manner and the way he deals with you is not OK. It’s not OK to treat people like they’re dumb and not worth your time.

Absolutely exceptional quality of care - Dr. Vargo is a brilliant experienced surgeon. He identified a very rare hernia via CT missed by several other specialists. The repair was fast and effective. He was kind and professional throughout, answering all questions before and after the procedure, even going above and beyond linking an informative publication regarding my inquiries. Phenomenal experience overall!

I would not recommend Daniel Vargo to anyone. He is not a kind or compassionate doctor. I had excruciating pain after surgery that he performed. I contacted his office starting two days after surgery and communicated that I was having an unexpected and significant level of pain and asked for a follow up appointment. They would not allow me to come in for an appointment. I called more than once to ask for a follow up and my request was denied.
