I first saw Dr. Gurley a few years ago when I was seeking relief from a previous surgery (doctor from a different practice) that did not go well. Dr. Gurley performed surgery on my shoulder to repair the problems and did a great job. Recently my other shoulder has been bothering me so I went back to Dr. Gurley because I know I can trust him. He takes the time to really listen and does not make you feel rushed. I highly recommend Dr. Gurley, as he is very knowledgeable and personable.
Recommending Dr. Gurley is easy. He is the best. Knowledgeable, patient and understanding. We need more like him.

Dr. Gurley is the type of doctor any patient would like to see! He is personable and knowledgeable. The best attribute of Dr. Gurley is that he sits to talk with you and look directly at you. He does not stand over you and look down at you! He explains everything in an easy to understand way. He answers all of your questions and concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Gurley to anyone looking for an orthopedic physician or sports medicine physician. He is wonderful!
I had a very good experience with Dr Gurley. He explained the surgery procedure before surgery was to take place. He came into the prep room before I went into surgery to put me at ease. The follow up appointments after surgery Dr Gurley spent time in the room answering all of my questions and always gave words of encouragement. He did not release me till I was comfortable to be dismiss from seeing him. He ensure me that if I have any discomfort to come into the office anytime.
The entire office was friendly and kind and caring treated me very well and everyone had a nice sense of humor but were very professional same time .
