My surgery is a great success. The pain is gone and I am recovering very well.
Dr. Barba is an excellent doctor and surgeon; not only very skilled, he is easy to talk to, has real concern with the pain one has and the steps needed to correct it. Following a course of treatment, epidural injections were given; with this only lasting a few months, a surgical solution was needed. I had a spinal instability and deteriorating discs in the lumbar region causing a pinching of nerves making a painful electric like shock shooting down my leg. Dr. Barba always listened to me during our visits. And he explained what to expect next in a way that was easy to understand.
Dr Barba has an air of confidence about his surgery procedures. He carefully explained what he would accomplish for me, how he would do it and then he just did it. He eliminated my spinal pain which was the goal of my surgery. For that I am very thankful.
Dr. Barba is very attentive and thorough in explaining options. My surgery went well and I feel great.
Dr. Barba and his team was Awesome! I was very impressed with how the whole process went from walking into the hospital to walking out the next day. Very easy to speak with. Recognizes your concerns
Dr Barba was very informative pre surgery and post surgery. He looked at my problem and only repaired what was necessary. I am very satisfied with the outcome of my surgery. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking at a spinal surgery.
Without Dr. Barba spine surgery a year ago I would be in a wheelchair now. I am 82 years shortly and spine surgery gave me a new life without pain. I was totally self-sufficient within a week. Physical therapy 3 times a week was VERY helpful. All appointments were on time, efficient and explained in detail with screen shot. Palomar Hospital, (beautiful) , Escondido, care excellent.
