I came to Dr. Barba with pain in my lower back. He was able to diagnose my problem and after first trying physical therapy and some injections we decided on surgery. The healing process was slow but, I now find myself doing great. I want to thank Dr. Barba for giving me back my pain free life. His staff is phenomenal as well. Thanks to all of them.

Dr. Daniel Barba is one of the best doctors I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. He is knowledgeable, caring, and attentive. My spine surgery was one of the most scariest things I’ve had to go through in life, yet he made me feel very comfortable and was there every step of the way. If anyone needs a spine surgeon, he is definitely the doctor to see. I highly recommend him!!
Dr. Barba performed spine surgery to fix 2 highly damaged discs. It relieved me of sitting and leg pain. My biggest worry after surgery was that I was going to be too active too soon. My only pain was minor on the 6 inch stomach incision which disappeared after 1 week. I am now back to weight lifting, running, and swimming.
I had spine surgery in April 2019 by Dr Barba. Office visits are great! Dr Barba is a busy Dr, but most of my visits were early or on time with the appointment time. I was not happy when I left the office. After waiting for at least 20 minutes once I was brought into the room, during which time I was able to see my MRI up on the screen, the assistant came in, hit a button on the computer, the image was gone. Dr finally came in, could not get the image back up so he couldn't explain what I had been looking at. He wrote a prescription and said I could come back another time and pay for another consultation. Cost: $150. For nothing.
I had pain in my left hip and leg. It was so bad I couldn't sit for longer than 30 minutes, sometimes less. No long trips or flights for me. Dr. Barba operated on my lower back and when I woke, all pain was gone. Yesterday I did 4 sets of 5 225 lb dead lifts. The point here is that my life has changed for the better and I am moving forward. Other than my wife, the this was the best decision ever.
I am getting ready for a 2nd, unrelated, surgery by Dr. Barba. Previously he performed an Anterior Cervical Disc Fusion (ACDF) C5-6 because I was having extreme pain going down my arm. Xrays and an MRI showed a lot of disc degeneration and bone spurs. He never pressed the surgery route but said it might help. I decided on going ahead with the surgery. I am very happy with the outcome: no more arm pain. Now I'm getting ready to get rid of my low back pain. Wish me luck!
