At 42 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. My surgeon suggested I speak with Dr Schmid as she works with him in the OR for some cases. I will never regret that. Today, two years after surgery, when I look in the mirror I do not see ANY scars!!!! He worked hard and I am thankful. He has great technical skills but he is also kind and caring which can rarely be found together. I would recommend him to friends, family and neighbors!!

Dr. Schmid is beyond the best. It’s taken me a while to write this because I have had horrible experiences in the past when it comes to surgery. From throwing up for 2 days to having a horrible staph infection for months which was missed. After having my second child and not breastfeeding (too anxious) my one breast leaked. Seriously you need an amazing plastic surgeon book it with Daniel Schmid. It won’t even look like you had surgery unless you want it to look that way. He’s truly amazing. You can’t even see my suture marks and that after 6 months. He’s not the type of plastic surgeon who is all glitz and glamour. He’s down to earth and just wants the best for his patients. His bed side manner is like no other. You just feel so comfortable with him. STOP HERE AND BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT ALREADY.!!!

Dr. Schmid is conscientious, careful and strives for the best outcomes possible. He performed my breast oncoplasty after a lumpectomy. He is easy to talk to and addresses questions patiently. I definitely recommend him.
I’m currently under Dr. Schmid’s care...he’s been patient, warm and understanding ever since I met with him after my breast cancer diagnosis. I must have asked him a million questions and he always remained patient. I had a double mastectomy with tissue expanders, my exchange surgery is soon. I recommend this Dr to any woman that needs a good dr for reconstruction. He will do everything he possibly can for you.
I went to Dr Schmid to see if he could help me with a complex ventral hernia that every doctor I saw prior shied away from and after a thorough examination and several test I was told that he could and would help me and that is exactly what he did,Dr schmid performed a complex surgery that involved reopening me (13"incision) removing/replacing the old mesh while taking it further with a component separation and then tasked with closing me up and to top it all all making it look good
Dr. Schmid just redid my implant I received in 1991 which was now flat, hard, and had ruptured. He also lifted my other breast so they’d match. I felt very comfortable with him. He’s low-keyed and sweet. He did an excellent job!! Highly recommend him.
