Dr. Rodrigues not only shines in his Gastroenterology expertise, but also in his bedside manner. When I took my wife to see him for GI upsets she said: " I felt better just listening to and watching his caring manner." The hurting gut likes these good vibes. Thank you, William Sears, M.D.
Dr. Rodrigues is an excellent physician. I was kind of misdiagnosed,at no fault of two other doctors I saw. I was referred to Rodrigues who did blood work and fecal test, post Endo and colonoscopy. I was diagnosed with C-diff. Dr responded quickly to all my messages. If I needed a medication refill it was done. During my follow up appointments Dr. Rodrigues asked a lot of questions and listened.
I saw Dr. Daniald Rodrigues at Providence for a severe GERD and gastritis flare-up, which had damaged my tonsils and gums. Despite my history and my other doctors' concerns, he neither examined my abdomen nor checked my throat. He did prescribe Voquezna, the only medication that has worked for me, but insisted on an endoscopy. The results showed GERD, mild gastritis, and a questionable gastroparesis diagnosis, later ruled out by a gastric emptying study. He was good the first time I went my problem was fixed
Did an endoscopy twice with him. He never came to see/check in on me after either procedure. He failed to communicate how the proceedure went or what the results were. Zero communication! I have never had an experience where a Dr could care less about me after a proceedure. Not only is this horrible bedside manner but I feel it borders on neglect.
