Amazing experience! The owner and chef, Salvatore, makes everyone feel at home, which is nice when you're visiting from states away. His baked bruschetta was my favorite dish I had all week while visiting Philly! Caesar salad, amazing. Canolis, delicious and light, perfect for after a hefty meal. It's a true gem and every bite was worth it. It's been cared for by family for 35 years and you can feel and taste the rich history that's been building.
This place is a must. The the owner greeted us right at the door, came by and sang on his guitar, every employee was super friendly and the food was out of this world. If you are in Philly and want tome good Italian come here
Stopped by unplanned and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming—exactly what you’d expect from a family-owned restaurant. The staff was super friendly and the service was excellent and very attentive. Food-wise, the bruschetta was a standout—fresh and flavorful. This restaurant is a neighborhood gem. Food is excellent. Wonderful ambiance. However, a recent dining experience did not sit sell with me. I ordered an iced tea. Although it cost $4, it came in a narrow glass with more ice than tea. Since the drink was gone in a few sips, I asked for a refill. I was surprised to see I was billed an additional $4 for the refill, as this had never happened before, and our server did not tell me there would be an extra charge.
