Overall very pleasant – Overall had a very pleasant experience, I was treated with so much kindness and found the perfect dress for my perfect day!
Watch out for sizing! – I went into the store to order a bridesmaid dress for an October wedding, 6 months before my own wedding. My wedding dress was a size 6. After being quickly measured, they told me I needed to order a size 12! I stated I would not. I told them all my sizes of clothes, but they insisted on a 12. The sales lady said that the designer runs small. I understand and argued for at least a 10. I left the store having ordered a 10 and signing a waiver saying I took responsibility for my size choice. Celebrate your big day- don't go here! – I went to d'Anelli's with my sister. She actually left in tears. One woman berated her for only having three months until her wedding, while another rolled her eyes at a co-worker when my sister explained that she couldn't wear a strapless dress and didn't want a large gown (I don't think I was supposed to notice the eyerolling!) Beautiful Dresses, Poor customer service – I purchased a couture wedding dress for my wedding. I'm from the east coast so I went with some close friends as my mother could not make it. We called ahead to see if we needed an appointment and they told us none was needed. But when we got there we were scolded for looking at dresses without a consultant; I understand the need to be cautious with high end gowns but they were pretty rude. good experience – My daughter was married this Sept, 2009. Our experience overall was wonderful. Some sales people are obviously bored with their job while others were as enthusiastic as we were with what should always be a fun time. The manager appears to be more bored than anyone working there. We never saw here smile during any of the times we were there. We never felt rushed. Terrible – I will recap the experience for you. You stand there in your under garments while you are measured. The woman measuring us made an inappropriate generalization on the body types of our bridal party as a collective whole. Then, based on your measurements, your dress size is ordered. I specifically requested my dress be ordered up and err on the side of being too loose. Then it was explained to me I could not return or exchange the dress even though I had not tried it on yet. disappointing experience – My experience started out great but turned out to be a disaster. staff was pleasant at first and the selection was wonderful but after i became a customer the service i received went down hill. they measured my bridesmaid wrong and ordered her a huge size. when it came in they actually wrote down on the file that it was a "perfect fit" which it was not. they later admitted that it was too big but instead of doing everything to right their mistake they told us we could pay to have it altered. they w... read more
Awful – I had to have my dress specially ordered because I'm very tall. They ordered it too short. When I went to go talk to them about it they started talking to me like I was stupid and made excuses for their poor service. I have to buy new shoes to fit for the dress and they lied to me about what I was going to have to pay for. Do not shop here. They are rude and will not fix thier mistakes when they mess up on your dress!!
Best Bridal – Special bridal shop I had the time of my life shopping for my wedding gown and maids my mom also bought her gown and also my future mother inlaw. I can't tell you how much I loved Nadene and the entire staff. My gown came in flawed and they immedialtely took care of everything and sent my gown back to manufacture and stayed on top of it until it sent back awesome customer service from the entire staff friendly and amazing.
