This is a perfect place for a weekend getaway or for a small business retreat. It's only 3 hours door to door from Nashville so you can even leave after work on Friday and still make it for a fabulous late dinner at the on site gourmet restaurant. You can spend the whole weekend without leaving the resort just eating, drinking and relaxing the whole way. We stayed in the Alum Cave cabin for Christmas and it was amazing. Such a cozy, comfortable cabin. The beds were so comfortable, the staff was great and it was so quiet. They were also so nice to mail me my coat that I left in the cabin. We can't wait for another visit!
We love Dancing bear, the. Owners are a great adddition to our community. Food is always unique and excellent! Love living 5 min away from the best restaurant in the state? Maybe!

My husband heard great things from coworkers. It was amazing!!! The food and our server, Ashley, were top notch. Not a place you’d go every night but certainly a wonderful special occasion restaurant - like our wedding anniversary!
