RecommendedMy two boys and I had an amazingly fun trip this past week to the Smokies and stayed at Dancing Bear Lodge in Townsend on the quiet side of the Park owned by Mark Oldham and Sharon Oldham of Nashville. It has fabulous cabins and an affordable alternative to Blackberry Farm with a fabulous Appalachian Bistro restaurant with rising regional star Chef Shelley Cooper. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wonderful place in an absolutely gorgeous setting with full on southern hospitality to vacation or have an event such as a wedding, anniversary, birthday or to just chill for a few days! Staff are friendly and professional. Cabins are cozy & clean. Looking forward to coming back! 👍
We did not stay at the Lodge....yet but stopped at the Coffee House three times during our visit. Server, Kenzie, was great! She was very friendly, made us feel at home and knew just what we wanted after our first visit! Great drinks and fried apple pies!
We did not stay at the lodge, we came just to have a dinner at the Bistro. The food was excellent, fresh, tasty and well executed. Our Server Pepper was professional and very friendly. We are definitely coming back.
wonderful accommodations and venue for our daughters wedding...everyone including Christy the manager and wedding coordinator was so nice and helpful...she kept the rehearsal and wedding days flowing smoothly...loved it when she got everyone up for the electric slide! we will definitely be going back for a vacation...thank you again! The staff, the accommodations, the Bistro, the ambiance, the location and grounds, the nearby coffee shop and eateries, the fire pit ans mores and more ... so happy to have had the opportunity to 'stay and play' at the Dancing Bear Lodge, Townsend, TN ... indeed welcomed us, as is often written about and said, to "The Peaceful Side of the Smokies".
Fantastic brunch. The best in the Smoky Mountains. Definitely worth the drive.
