RecommendedA while back, Dana had a post on facebook about checking the prongs on your diamond periodically as they can wear over time and you could lose your diamond. I checked mine and three of the six prongs were gone. Worn down to nothing. I put my ring up and didn’t wear it until I finally remembered to bring it to Dana’s to be repaired. My diamond looks like it did 30 years ago when he gave it to me. They replaced the prongs but also took my diamond out and cleaned all the crud and most likely biscuit dough from it. 30 years wort... read more
