First time customer, I've been searching for a great diner with good food and decent customer service in Lansing area. Well I got excellent food and Amazing customer service! give credit where credit is due! Love it and you'll see me often! Edited: I agree with Amanda, the owner is very nasty and greedy. Very disrespectful toward women and treats his employees like crap. Take your business elsewhere.
They have exceptional food. I love the atmosphere there. Ive eaten there twice. Both times I was having dinner with my mom. We are getting ready to meet there again for her birthday. I love seeing her laughing&smiling. Dans Coney Island is the place that does that for her.
I have eaten here 6 times and each and every time I eat here the service has gotten worse, but today (May 7th) was the absolute worst. An hour to be asked if I want a refill on my drink when I am ready to leave, cold food, pancakes that were essentially cardboard with some type of flavor. And just all around mediocre service. The last you will be seeing of me there!!!
Service slow warm fries grandsons didn't like the food
John and his staff go out of there way to take care of us!! Every Wednesday morning at 9:00 we do our Old guys breakfast..apx 20-30 of us old guys get together for breakfast ...Great food great conversation ...so if your old and you have Wednesday mornings off come and join us!!
Breakfast is unbelievably good. The food is high quality the prices are great and the service is good too. It's also the only place I can find around Lansing that can make a pretty authentic Chicago dog!!
My family and I love this restaurant. My boys ask almost daily if we can go to Dans. The waitress are very nice and treat us like family. John the owner always says hello and checks to make sure everything is going good. He has even sat down and had supper with my family before. That is a great owner to care enough about his customers to have supper with us. Even on days my husband and I go in without my boys the waitress and Jon ask about them.
