I went in tonight, rushed in after dinner out (it's my birthday) to grab a bottle of wine to enjoy a bath at my hotel across the road. It was 8.54 and I warched them close the final door. Shop was supposed to close at 9, and I had gotten a tram and taken a brisk walk Anyway, he let me in, told me to be quick, their liqour licence ends at 9.00pm. I grabbed a bottle, went to the register. He refused my cash. Said he had closed the till. I said but it's not 9. You close at 9, I had looked it up, that's why I rushed to get here.... read more
