Well I was referred to him, however I am not wanting to go... Based on the reviews I have read about him here and other sites! Has anyone found an alternative provider besides him?.. I am pain pill free for 3 years now and I don't want surgery or pain pills and/or another heartless horrifying doctor!! Thanks in advance! God bless!??

I brought my mother to Dr. Hancock for treatment as she was referred by her Orthopedic Surgeon. I couldn't be more pleased with his wonderful bedside manner and the way in which he treated her. He is very compassionate with her and my fingers are crossed that he can help her with her pain. Thank you Dr. Hancock!

I was referred to him by my primary due to the fact that I have chronic back pain that I've had for 8 years. I had been on Vicodin for 2-3 years because that's all that would help, and I needed a different solution. Unfortunately he has a terrible attitude and I felt judged the entire time I was there. I didn't feel listened to at all, and when the one treatment he tried didn't work to the extent he wanted it to, I was then told I'm out of luck and just have to deal with it. Never went back...

There are not enough characters allowed in this comment box to describe all of the horrible things about this doctor. In a nutshell, he is cold hearted, lacks compassion for his patients who are in true pain, sets impossible requirements for patients to get refills before they run out of meds, and has a terrible bedside manner. (Telling a 65 year old who is dying from stage 4 lung cancer, as well as metastatic brain cancer "I don't care if you're dying.")

Maybe he was just having a bad day, but the doctor raised his voice in a yelling fashion when I wasn't capable of answering his question within a reasonable amount of time. He proved to have a rather disconcerting bedside mannerism. I will find another provider.
