I met with Dr. Dan Hancock this morning concerning my health issues and could not have been more impressed with my overall experience in his office. He was very thorough, detailed, polite and informative. I am looking forward to future appointments and working toward regaining my health.
Worst doctor visit I’ve ever had! Very rude, unsympathetic, unprofessional. I also overheard him talking down to a staff member. I wanted to give him a chance despite negative reviews because of the convenience of location but I clearly should have listened to others about his terrible patient care. I can’t believe he is allowed to continue practicing medicine after reading such terrible reviews and hearing from others I have run across in my daily life that have nothing good to say about him.
Do not go to this doctor! I work in the medical profession at Centerpoint hospital so I chose this doctor out of convenience. I read all of the horrible reviews and almost didn't go but thought I'd give him a chance. Not everyone is always super truthful. Dr Hancock is the greatest. Thank you.
Dr. Hancock is a wonderful doctor. He spends time to talk to you. He explains things to you and he does care about you
Dr. Hancock is temperamental and a perfectionist. He is above making mistakes but if you make one, he will belittle and berate you. I question the positive reviews on here and whether they were paid or not. His bedside manner is deplorable. He is moody and can be downright mean. He has no limit on what comes out of his mouth.
I am giving this doctor one star for rudeness and lack of consideration for his new patient, my 94-year-old mother. We previously obtained and completed his 9 page initial history form, and took it with us on the foggy, icy day of the appointment. My mom has become rather frail, with deficits in sight, hearing, and mobility. We arrived at 10:30, the appointment time, but later than we planned despite allowing plenty of time. There were problems with the documents and it took a few minutes to sort out. Dr. Hancock entered the... read more
Very professional, answers all questions and has a sense of humor!
He's been extremely helpful each time mom has gone to see him. He's been professional & empathic. His treatment makes mom's life and my step dad's bearable. Thank goodness for Dr. Hancock! I agree they could use improvement with scheduling over the phone. Maybe it works better to go online to schedule.. I will try it.
