My father was admitted by ambulance through the emergency room due to seizures from alcoholism. The ER doctor and nurse were great. Once he was transferred to ICU, things went down hill. Both the doctor and social worker make comments like "well, what difference does it make anyway, he's an alcoholic" and "he did this to himself." Neither seem to have any knowledge about addiction and they both act openly hostile towards their patient and make known to the family that they see no point in him living. Great Staff and experience. This facility is well recommended.
The place is starting to look run down. There is no place to park for free. If you have an appointment here make sure they validate. Nobody seems to be in charge, no one that I talked with could even direct you to someone else.
Staff was caring and attentive. There concern was about my son

The Worse Hospital ever, First, the wait time at the ER is really BAD!! Second the nurses, I know they are overwhelmed and busy but come on come to the room and at least checked on the patient don't just walked by and looked!! My husband was there for 6 hours and never ones we were checked on, we called the nurse twice because my husband needed help and no one bother to show up!! Medical city dallas hospital is the best! Every staff member that has assisted me since my arrival has been wonderful! I will not go to any other hospital. Doctors are the best! Staff is polite, courtious and respectful. Food is not your average hospital food. It is yummy. I have referred this hospital to my friends and family because of the quality of care I have received. Thank you MCD, you are definitely the best!
