Kristine Tawater is AMAZING! She helped me grow in confidence about the birth so much during my pregnancy. I felt like I could trust her to do whatever needed to be done if things got scary or hard. She is so comforting and experienced. She was always a phone call or text away and she made herself available even when it was inconvenient. She gave us space when necessary at the birth, but stayed close and stepped in whenever I needed her. I will sing her praises to everyone I know!
Kristine is THE BEST!!!! Our whole family loves her! My 15 yr old just asked me what it would be like to be a midwife in another country. She really is fascinated with midwifery now. Her little sisters both were born with midwives - and AWESOME midwives!!
We did a homebirth with Kristine and absolutely loved our experience. She was kind a caring during all the prenatal appointments, I always felt like we had her complete attention and as much time as we needed for our questions. She encouraged us to research things before giving her opinion and then would talk us through the pros and cons until we reached decisions we were confident in. Kristine was my midwife for my fourth baby. She was calm, incredibly competent, and wonderful! I love how she practices evidenced based, respectful care! Having come from an OB with my previous births, I was shocked at how close we became, and how quickly she responded to any of my concerns. She's a fabulous midwife. I highly recommend her. She's now a friend as well as a midwife.
