He was very kind and meticulous with me, although he is a man of few words. That said, when I was in Pre-Op, he came in, introduced himself, prayed over me, and made a joke as he used a marker to mark my right wrist prior to surgery. My recovery went smoothly and my follow up visits after surgery were always pleasant. I highly recommend Dr. Whitaker.
Dr w was awesome I was shifted from one doctor and they where just gonna put me with other one I never met or talked to for a surgery .I chose dr w. He was through about all issues and compassionate and great bed side manner . Day of procedure he came in and spoke kind words and was sure reassuring. He sent me his private number to reach out to him for anything. He responded quickly and was compassionate and caring as well during phone communication. I highly recommend him

Dr. Whitaker is kind and caring, listens and offers all treatment options. His staff is helpful and the office is run efficiently with short wait times but no feeling of being rushed. My knee replacement went well with extensive pre and post op instructions and exercises to help with recovery given in a packet. I was able to refer to the packet to refresh my understanding of instructions for best outcome. I would most definitely recommend Dr. Whitaker and Baptist Beaches Hospital to anyone needing knee replacement surgery
Dr. Whittaker performed hip replacement surgery on my right hip. Excellent job, very kind and caring. Highly recommend.
Unable to find out what was wrong with my hip. Excruciating hip pain since April . Went 3 times in 5 months. Injections didn’t work. Told me he couldn’t find the source of the pain. New dr actually had an MRI of my hip. I need a hip replacement. Very disappointing.
Dr Whittaker did a fine job on my carpal tunnel release and I’ll be going back to him soon to have the other hand done. He is kind and considerate and explains conditions well.
Very caring and takes time to explain and answer questions.
Dr. Whitaker did a terrible job on my total knee replacement ! I am filing a complaint with the state.
