Dal-Rich extended my patio, put in a new sidewalk and built a cedar patio cover for our home. I was concerned about light because the French doors to the patio were the only source of natural light for my kitchen. Jeff Ellis suggested a design with a gable and that has worked very well. This is the second fence Dal-Rich has built for me. The first time, I just had them build it because I had seen their sign on some fences that I thought looked good, but not having had time to compare prices with other fence builders. I thought they charged a pretty penny, but then I watched the fence get built in no time at all, and more importantly, I watched that fence survive being a backstop for my kids' lacrosse and soccer goals. Six months and project not finished; nonetheless we were contacted about closing the permits. What was built was not what was designed/contracted; asked them specifically to build as close to the set-back as legal but they didn't. Workers blamed for design defects that caused water damage inside home. Haphazard and patch-work design change without our permission; had to contact a lawyer to get one corrected. Not trustworthy.
We had 5 different roof lines to deal with when we wanted to add an outdoor patio cover. I wanted a vaulted roof, other contractors tried to get me to put in a sloping one. The ones who quoted me for a vaulted roof wanted to put in multiple post supports, which aesthetically would look terrible. Todd understood what we wanted and his workers did exactly what he promised and they tied everything in so it looked like it was part of the original structure. My wife and I were very impressed with Dal-Rich. They had come highly recommended, and didn’t disappoint.
