If I could give a zero!! They let barn animal pigs live there!!! They scream and oink all night and day!!! And you should see the washers ,my dirty clothes are cleaner than after someone does laundry living with a Hog !!! The MANGERS MOUTH IS TERRIBLE CUSSES AND SWEARS EVEN MOWING THE LAWN!!! You could lose your front axel in the pot hole parking lot!!!
Horrible management and maintenance they literally take your rent money and don't do anything to fix the place busted out Windows squatters living in unrented units mold in almost all the units people are being to told to boil water to bathe because they won't fix anything being told you can't use your bathroom for a week because once again they refuse to fix stuff ! Absolute slum lords disgusting people in the office! They do not care about anything just getting there money
I was renting at 2425 N Oakland Ave for 4 years 5 months and they billed me $500 for painting when I moved out. Shouldn't that be considered normal wear and tear to need to repaint every 3 to 5 years? So how am I getting stuck with the full bill for them to refurbish the apartment. I defended these clowns as being decent to others but folks told me watch out when you move out they will literally steal your security deposit. They were 100% right....screw these clowns.
I am a current tenant who is fed up with this company since they bought the building. On there website it saids there maintenance are professional. Well today there maintenance decided to throw my pots of plants out even though they were in pots getting some sun. I only was gone for an hour to find that something I loved got destroyed. The maintenance even admitted to doing it and had the excuse that they thought they were weeds in pots. Warning. Stay away. Extremely unprofessional and rude. Kelly is just a unhappy human being with zero sympathy and only cares about money. She will screw u the first chance she gets. Everyone please take note. Notice that a lot of the reviews that are good reviews all sound the same. Almost as if someone is making up accounts and writing good reviews to try to stop the bleeding. Because your rent had not been paid for 3 months as well as your city of Jackson water bills, DAK Properties was forced to do an eviction to recover the apartment. I don't normally leave bad reviews, but people, SERIOUSLY think twice before getting involved with this awful company. They will take you for every dime if you let them. Read my story. 2 days late and they harass the sh$t out of you, and will charge you $35 per day and have zero sympathy doing it, even if you have rented there 4 years. You gotta read this story. I lived at this location for two years of which the first one year was under ownership of another property management. And I lived at another location of dak for above two years. Most of the time I called them for none maintenance issues, they had not been helpful and cooperative. One big issue I had was parking spot for which I had to get street side parking permits through my landlord, or I had to park somewhere far away from my place or get parking citation.
