I give Daisy Outdoor one star because of their product being made in China. They've taken a great American product and turned it into something horrible. I will NEVER buy another one of their products until they move back to American soil and I hope other Americans won't either. I'm sick to death of EVERYTHING being made in China. We Americans need to start standing together and be heard. BOYCOTT DAISY!!!!!
It all starts with Daisy. My daughter's first pink Red Ryder is now my gun to play around when we shoot.
The Red Ryder is garbage. It looks nice and feels well made, but my daughter got about 5 shots out of her first one before something in the cocking mechanism broke. I sent it back and got another one, and that one didn’t fire a single shot. Now I have to call customer service and send a brand new gun back for repairs. My daughter is so disappointed.
I'm 60 years old own 3 daisy BB GUNS. I lost my first one along time ago.... I love Daisy BB guns. I own other BB guns too. Nothing like the legendary Red Ryder for first timers. I learned safety of rifles and pistols through Daisy growing up. I learned respect for the danger of guns and most importantly respect for life through gun ownership.
Model 25. Best BB rifle ever, for what it does. That is, pumps out BB's while shouldered. 50 shot cap. Longhorn or peep sight. Feels like pump shotgun.Great for backyard dueling trees. I shot my mine with consistency after running a q-tip down the barrel. We need to have a presentation version of this one!
I purchased the Red Ryder carbine for my grandson. My first gun was a Daisy bb gun over 40 years ago. That gun automatically engaged the safety when cocking it. This gun does not. Even worse, the hung the metal loop and leather tie right in the way of the safety. You could not design this useless loop in a worse position! Who ever engineered this should be fired!
Used 4 times. Shot total of less than 200 times. Already broke
I bought my first Daisy Red Ryder I've had for years after Christmas 2017. I love it!
