Employees need to wear gloves when making ice cream cones and if they are the cashier, they need to wash their hands and put on gloves. I had a worker arguing with me that he was not touching the cone. I told him put on gloves. Yes I am reporting them to the health department because they are following the COVID-19 rules when serving food. I am pretty sure they are not clean or santizing stations or machines. My boss decided to treat us to ice cream this afternoon and these clowns at Dairy Queen in South Daytona just sold us a Blizzard with a bee in it. A WHOLE BEE!!!!!! My boss ordered 4 blizzards from the drive thru that came with solid lids on them. He carried the drink carrier into the office where we stood in the kitchen and took our own lids off INSIDE! Came here with my parents and three kids earlier today. Amazing staff and great food! Not sure we've even encountered such friendly fast food employees before. A lovely change from what we've been dealing with here on vacation. Would definitely 10/10 recommend this restaurant.
Fantastic prices, fast service!
We stop here often on our way back home to Titusville whenever we visit the Daytona area. Always happy to see the DQ sign when we travel.
Our visit was exceptionally well and got our order quickly.
