Great relatively inexpensive old fashioned feel to a wonderful place to celebrate special occasions or just get a great breakfast or lunch in a cozy environment. It is a must try, and I guarantee you will become a regular.
Five of us had breakfast and a meeting at the DB this morning. Lance, our server was on the spot! Coffee arrived immediately. Orders taken promptly. Breakfast arrived like lightening! Frankly, even if the waitstaff had on roller skates, I don't think the service could get any faster. The order was correct the first time and the food was delicious. Breakfast done right. Had lunch at the Dairy Bar today with my family. Our lunch was amazing and the service outstanding. We were too full for desert, but after trying the strawberry black cherry shake last week I know why they are known as the best shakes in Richmond.

Owner was extremely rude to me and my coworker upon seating and again when I was trying to pay the check. The only redeeming qualities of this place was that the food was good and the wait staff did a very good job. Sorry I was dressed in way that incited I was doing manual labor for day. Maybe if I had been dressed in business attire, I may have been treated better. I did see he was prejudicial against us and rude compared to being very nice to the people in business attire.
