This place is great! – This place is wonderful. Come early and beat the rush! The specials are to die for and the salad with grilled apples and spiced pecans is a meal in and of itself. The staff is friendly, the bread is free, but not warm (which was a little disappointing). They have St. Arnold's beer, which is great!! It is a bit pricey for everyday eating, but the food is priced right. Good for special occassions where money is not a problem.

damn it! it was good! – WOW what a restaurant! It is not very easy to impress me, but Daily Review did the job. It is one if the best restaurants i have been so far. Everything is great about this place. The patio is romantic and cosy, the art in the walls is atractive, the service is top notch and the food is to die for. I can't wait to go back. My food was so good that i did not want to finish it, i wanned the flavors to last forever. The waiter make you feel at home and let you know how pleased they are to serve you. My p... read more

Dang, everyone found it... – I was tempted to write an untrue bad review to thin the crowds of, high quality gourmet food demanding patrons, that have discovered this quaint bistro. But thoughts of their mouth watering, signature house salad (baked goat cheese, spiced pecans, grilled apples, and oven baked garlic clove on a bed of baby field greens with a raspberry vinaigrette served with house baked bread) made that impossible. When the Houston weather cooperates, the patio dining can not be beaten for sheer dining pleasure.

NEW SATISFIED PATRON – CAME FOR THE FIRST TIME TO TRY THE LOW CARB MENU ABOUT 4 WEEKS AGO. HAVE GONE BACK 3 TIMES. FOOD AND SERVICE ARE EXCELLENT. GREAT SALADS AND ENTREES. ONE PROBLEM FOR LOW CARBERS: THEY DONT ASK BEFORE THEY PUT DOWN FRESH BREAD IN FRONT OF YOU. THE BREAD IS GREAT AND IS DIFFICULT TO IGNORE. VERY FRIENDLY STAFF. CAN BE VERY CROWDED. RESERVATIONS ARE RECOMMENDED EVEN FOR LUNCH.

We did Sunday Brunch yesterday and the dining was great. I am sure the day had something to do with it since it was beautiful but the food and service were great out on the patio.

Great Reward – This is a great place to take a work group you want to reward...just plan some extra time. The food is wonderful...especially the Baked Goat Cheese Salad. The ambience makes the team feel special!

$$$$ for C+ food & C- service – Food was ok, but outrageously expensive for . A small to avg size bowl of "Tortilla soup" (tomato soup with 2 bite size pieces of chicken) $6. Small dish of ice cream $6.50. Plain chicken sandwich on bread with chips $9. Servers were rather snooty and very kid UNfriendly. Could eat at twice at other better area restauarants for the same amount of money. On the plus side they have a VERY nice outside courtyard with nice garden and fountain.

Inconsistency... – I've been to this eatery 2-3 times and have always had great service and good food. However, I went there this Valentine's Day and the food was mediocre and service was inconsistent and not up to par as the usual service on a busy Friday night. I was surprised at the prices of a 3 course dinner to be $50? I got a bowl of mushroom soup (yum), a 6 oz filet mignon and creme brulee. I didn't think that meal was worth $50 a person, and portions were pretty small! I guess we can blame this one on Hallmark Holida... read more

All Around Fantastic – I finally tried Daily Review after hearing so many good things about it and everything was great. The warm spinach salad was delicious, as well as the seared ahi tuna with wasabi mashed potatoes. I highly recommend the chocolate whisky pot de creme for dessert. the staff was very polite and helpful as well. Great!
