Texicana at it's best-- a little German, a little Mexican, a little Southern Comfort. Prices and portions not super pretentious, like some new American fare in Austin.

We live in Houston, but have been big Dai Due fans for years. We made special trips to the Farmer's Market when visiting Austin for breakfast and take home goodness. We finally got to come into the restaurant last weekend for brunch.....it was AMAZING! The restaurant was beautiful, the staff was great, and the food was DELICIOUS. Had lunch here today - a venison barbacoa sandwich...LOVED IT...the waitstaff was awesome, and the ambiance was perfect for a conversation that I could hear, but in a setting where the energy was lively. Great job you guys...definitely a return trip is on my calendar!
