Dr. Dabal saved my grandson that was born with Coarctation of the Aorta. He is wonderful, he treats your child like his own.
Before he moved to AL, Dr Dabal performed multiple heart surgeries on our son who was born with half a heart. You will not find a more compassionate & caring surgeon.
Dr. Dabal performed open heart surgery on my oldest son back in November 2014 when he was three years old. Tens years later, he is fishing, playing baseball, and on a mountain bike racing team! He’s thriving, to say the least! You would never know he had such a major surgery. Dr. Dabal was truly a Godsend. He’s extremely skilled, knowledgeable, and reassuring. If you are reading this because your child needs cardiac surgery, I sincerely hope my son’s story comforts you and brings you peace. He or she is in very good hands!

I highly recommend Children’s of Alabama if your baby’s heart must be fixed. They took such good care of all of us. Dr. Dabal is the best of the best! He has such passion for what he does and is extremely knowledgeable. He will answer all your questions and is very personable. He came to check on our baby girl several times following surgery, even on the weekend! When I had a question weeks following surgery, he called me right back and was happy to answer my question. He was an answer to our prayers!!
