I chipped a tooth but it wasn't an emergency so I scheduled my appointment for a week later. The staff was very pleasant and helpful in getting me scheduled as quickly as possible. I got put on the list for last minute cancellations and was called a couple of times during the week but couldn't coordinate it with work so had to keep my original appointment time. Dr. Vanderveen has been my dentist for 17 years. He is soft-spoken yet capable and follows my dental history each visit. His staff is attentive, explains what they are doing, and makes sure you feel like you're in control.

I appreciate Dr. VanderVeen and his staff so much! Everyone is extremely friendly and professional. Most of all, I respect and admire Dr. VanderVeen's conservative approach to diagnosis and treatment. Too many "chain store" dentists out there today prescribe work which is not required, but which lines their pockets. Dr. VanderVeen will always provide an honest assessment of the need and immediacy of treatment required, and never prescribes unnecessary procedures. Wow- everyone was very friendly, the receptionist, Laura who cleaned my teeth and Dr. Vanderveen were all friendly and courteous. This is a very friendly yet professional crew focussed on doing their job efficiently. I highly recommend Dr. Vanderveen's family dentistry.
