Had an appointment to have my 1 year old stove fixed on November 19th that I had waited a week for. ( I called for warranty repair on the 12th) The day of the appointment D & S called to say they have only one person who works the area and he is out. They won’t be able to come till Dec 3!!!! That’s 3 weeks without a stove, no stove on the holiday and here it is the day before and there has been no confirmation that they will show up this time. Save your money and just buy a new one! It takes weeks to schedule appointments and they do not stand by there service after the fact. We had a compressor replaced on our fridge and after months of issues, lost food and repeat service calls they said it needs another compressor? The compressor is covered under warranty this time (bought the first one) but not their labor after 30 days. Even with continued service calls during that time period. I don't think D&S are to reliable. They came out in July check out our fridge because things were freezing plus had promble with our our freezer door we having tough time getting it closed. The person told my Mom that need to order at least 4 parts for the fridge and freezer. They said one of the might be in back order and getting the parts might be little slow because of the covid -19 which I totally understand but it's September know it's been little more than month know it's almost 2 months. We have had D&S Appliance come to do service on two different appliances. They call to let you know when the technician will arrive on the day of the appointment. The office staff was very efficient & pleasant to work with. Amy was the service tech both times and each item was fixed the first time she was here. She was very personable and took the time to find the problems and correct them.
The technician was in the time frame they gave my mom, she was working so I waited for him. Very efficient and answered all the questions I had about fixing my Amana Top Loader Washing Machine. He stayed around to make sure the issues was resolved and was very kind and courteous. I will definitely recommend this company to family and friends. With Amana sending them out it was covered under warranty.
Had a horrible experience. Warrenty company sent them to fix washer. After 6 weeks, 4 visits washer was still broken .
