To long of a line. Also had to wait 2 days for my BFF’s meds. She has cancer. And was really sick that day.
I’m not sure what I’m missing! We went to CVS to pick up medications. The cost was going to be $23.98; however, I pulled up the GoodRX app. I got over $10 knocked off! But the issue for us to get the “discounted” price they would have to reprocess the medications and it would be another 45 minutes to get the $10 savings! I was appalled at this as the commercial makes it sound like you can just do it at check out and all is good! You know the people calling in to the pharmacy are actual Patients with medical Concerns and questions yet you choose to now answer you phone for 27 minutes that’s ridiculous. My future prescriptions will be taken elsewhere.
This pharmacy is suppose to be 24 hours, yet I was refused a prescription because it was 5am. I have filled the same prescription at that time of day numerous times over the past few years. This pharmacist was lazy and treated me poorly. Today, I waited in the drive thru for 20 minutes and when I got to the window, they told me I needed to come in. They are so slow! It’s unbelievable!
CVS LOST my prescription. They said they hadn't even received when just two days ago they had it ready to go. I had gone to pick it up, but my refills weren't ready so I said I would come back. When I went back to pick it up, the refills were ready and the new medication was gone. They didn't even have record of it. And the pharmacy tech was rude and acted like she didn't want to help me. I was the only customer- it's not like she really was doing much.
After calling SIX times and speaking to various pharmacy employees, I was thankful to receive a call letting me know my prescription was ready and the price. Imagine my surprise when I arrive and the poor employee "can't find me in the system." THEN WHY DID SOMEONE CALL TO GIVE ME A PRICE AND TELL ME IT WAS READY?! Thank heavens Walgreens transferred my prescription and had it ready in 20 minutes. CVS, we are never, ever, EVER getting back together....
If there's an issue with a prescription, you should not wait until the FOURTH time I've been here to tell me. As I'm standing here, there are three people on the phone! One of those phones can't be used to call me? Y'all should check and recheck procedure, and if it doesn't work for your customers, change it!
