Where do I begin!?? Maybe sharing with everyone that Cute Cakes is NOT just bakery for occasions. They provide incredible breakfast, lunch, and the most amazing drinks money can purchase on Grand Ave! I was so disappointed that when I first moved here, I was looking for a delicious breakfast spot or for a BLT on Google and Cute Cakes didn’t come up. This is a fantastic coffee shop in downtown Escondido. Their coffee is really good, the cakes and chocolates are amazing. My husband loves their gluten free alternatives. There are very few places you can go for coffee and get a gluten free treat. 💙. They made the cake for my daughter’s Graduation from Law School and also her wedding cake. Both were amazing and both were gluten free ❤️

We love Cute Cakes! The food is great....the BEST croissants in Escondido, and everything else is pretty delicious as well. Best of all, the service is fabulous. Everyone who works there goes out of their way to make every visit a good one. Cute Cakes is our almost three year old grandson's happy place...he's been going there with us since he was a tiny baby and we love that kids are not only welcome, but treated like special customers. I needed a place last minute for a two tier cake order. I was frantically looking for places to come across, as I needed a tier cake for a corporate event. Every other bakery I called told me I should've called a month ahead...Once I called Cute Cakes, they kindly took my order and told me that it would be no problem at all. Good food, Good environment... Great Southern Hospitality
My husband and I just moved to Escondido and decided to spend date night exploring downtown. We were strolling by Cute Cakes and their friendly staff enticed is to stay for Happy Hour and we weren’t disappointed! We ordered a meat and cheese board and some beer and cider and everything was on point. The staff was fun and friendly and we are excited to come back for their Sunday brunch.
