Shout out to Cutco knives from olean ny. Back in the day, pre 2000, they hired college students to go door to door to sell their knives. I bought a set from one of our friends daughter who was a rep. I still have the knives. At first they were so sharp I had a learning curve not to cut myself. The knives are guaranteed for life. About 10 years ago I broke off the tip of our pairing knife. I bought $600 worth of CUTCO knives they are worthless. I wish I could get my money back. I would rather have Chicago cutlery. I could not cut butter with any of these knives I have they are terrible. Sorry to say that I thought I was paying good money to get great knives, but these knives are dangerous in the kitchen because he will cut your hand because they will not stay sharp
