Custard Cup was first started in 1949. It was originally opened by George and Helen Potter at 2507 N. Vermilion St. in Danville, IL. There they started selling the Custard that Mr. Potter had developed a recipe for. Business started slow, and it was not uncommon to see George and Helen sitting out back playing cards while they waited for customers to come in. Cold fudge is great and the lemon custard
We went last night and there were swarms of insects all over the place. Not only could we not go more than 2 seconds without swatting away a bug but they bugs were getting inside the building through the ordering window.
Lemon heaven! I loved it! First time this season!
Every time I go home to Danville I have to hit custard cup up for a few pints of the lemon custard. It is definitely the best frozen custard in the world. I wish they would ship to other states. Does anyone know if they do that?
