Was blown away that this tiny little shop has such insanely good food. Every single thing from the saag paneer to the tandoori chicken was truly 10/10. The guy at the counter was super attentive, so friendly, and contributed to the delightful atmosphere. Already can’t wait to go back and eat everything on the menu
My husband and I have been ordering delivery and takeout from Curry Leaf for a couple months now. We both agree it is the best Indian restaurant we've had the pleasure of regularly ordering from, after having other regular spots in Boston, NYC, and Philadelphia. THE FOOD WAS FANTASTIC! I've tried quite a few Indian restaurants in Philly now, and this is definitely the best so far. I got takeout and the food was ready quickly. The containers were filled to the brim, packed safely, and everything was flavorful and delicious. Highly recommend the cheese naan. I loved my kadhai paneer. Definitely will be back.
I got delivery from here and it was one of the most disappointing meals I’ve had. I’ll give them credit for big portions (lots of rice and big containers of entrees) but everything tasted bad. The sauces for entrees (chicken tikka masala and saag paneer) were incredibly sweet, no spice or flavor to it, chicken was tough and dry. The naan was underseasoned, the samosa tasted like fryer oil, the raita tasted off. Would never order from here again and would warn people off it — I have no idea how it has 4.7 stars.
