West side suburbia is the last place I'd expect good Indian food, so Curry Leaf is a nice surprise. The Shrimp Curry was the star of meal, and the Chicken Masala was very good. They need to work out the service kinks, as the waiter was literally running from the kitchen to the dining area. Lot's of Indian folks eat here, a good sign.
Tasteful dishes, variety and spicy – They serve wonderful, tasteful dishes that are spicy and tongue tingling. Here they don't serve dishes that is bland as in other Indian restaurants in Portland. Here it is authentic. Especially the Idili, Vada and Sambar on weekends buffet. My wife's favorite is Bhindi Masala served hot and spicy. Be it dinner or lunch, the Nan is out of this world.
