So glad to have found Quima! First haircut today - looked great walking out of the salon (if you have curls, you know that much of the time you have to go home and re-do your hair). Quima is really gifted at cutting and styling curls, and just a pleasure to be around. I got a full haircut and also a mask to remove the product buildup so my curls could bounce freely. Will definitely be back!!!

Joaquima is the owner-stylist of this one person studio and she is fabulous. I’ve never had good hair (that’s a direct quote from my mother 🤨) until I visited Joaquima. She knew exactly what do to bring my frizzy, vapid curls to life. I’ve been to other curl specialist, but they’ve never been able to do this. Plus she’s a genuinely lovely person who made this introvert very comfortable. You will love her.

Who doesn't know it... being dry brushed as a kid. Being offered straightened hair at the end of a hairdresser's visit from a beaming stylist who thinks straightened hair must be such a treat... Not so Quima! I walked out with a brand new sense of my hair along with a wonderful style and cut! Like spending 2 hrs hanging out with a friend and getting the haircut of a lifetime out of it.

Joaquima knew my hair better than I did as soon as I walked in the door and I walked out with a new head of hair! She gave me a hair detox, wash, trim, and styling, and I was getting compliments from strangers as I left the salon and walked down the street. I could feel the curls bouncing. Amazing experience.
