These guys have got it goin'on! It's an art compound with Protocol Galleries next door, the Incubator art house and experiential art in the yard. Curia has much to look at on a small scale on her shelves ... Oh yea, and high quality bevs and treats. G'vile coolness at it's best.
The Large Hat Aficionados Club (LHAC) met here to consume a pint and debate whether the top hat really is superior to the ten-gallon cowboy hat for the modern gentleman. The beers were cold and the bartenders friendly, but the club erupted into fisticuffs over whether Thadius' monocle was truly a reasonable choice to wear with his fedora. Ultimately most of our hats were smashed in the conflict and it was never settled whether or not the top hat was truly superior, but I contend that it was and only a ruffian would disagree.... read more
Best flan ever! And the Oysters Rockefeller are to die for. The Dancers are all very professional and the bathrooms are very clean. I really liked how they presented the Bananas Foster without any of the usual banana pretense, but the coatroom attendant was a bit smug.
The decor is crafted with skill and passion. The Curia is definitely a great asset so far with lots of potential for expansion and enhancement. Maybe there is a hope that Sixth Street will truly become "The Drag".
Delicious loose leaf teas and a great atmosphere. Located in a great spot on 6th. They also have a decent selection of beer, cider, and wine.
