Although Dr. Cummings is extremely knowledgeable and as such is probably an excellent doctor as far as skill, I found him arrogant and abrupt. I accepted his arrogance, but his PA is beyond the acceptable arrogance level on my part. I was to have surgery with this doctor, and encountered some problems, and when his assistant actually SMILED as he told me the surgery was canceled for that day, I took a hike to find a new doctor. I have had Dr. Cummings as my orthpedic surgeon for 2yrs and 4 knee surgeries. He is very knowledgable and insists on giving the utmost care, while having knowledgable staff that go out of their way to answer any question that you may have. Many of my visits I have spent with his P.A. Matt, who is incredibly knowledgable as well, and is very friendly with excellent bed side manner.
