I rented a 5x5 unit for the items from my apartment from the Gale Eckington back in 2018. I paid for the unit monthly that started at $137.54... by the time I moved out the unit in 2024 the payment ballooned to $425.40. That's over 3x the initial advertised price. The people in the office were nice but the condition of the storage facility has gone completely down in the 5 years I rented storage from them. Never again. We needed a storage unit for three months for our daughter's college items. The price was fine, the area is decent. However, getting in touch with anyone in the actual building is impossible. I have called over 30 times in the less than nine weeks we have rented and never once has anyone answered the phone or called back. Then I reached out to the main CubeSmart number.
