The taste, the service, the music, and the price! Very concientious staff.
My 12 year old daughter found this new restaurant that just opened in San Mateo & begged me to try it out. So glad we did - their Cuban sandwiches are Da Bomb!!!
One of my favorite places to go. The food is unbelievable! The staff is friendly And go the extra mile to satisfy its customers. As far as the food goes I recommend the lechon it's among one the best things I have EVER had. I recently got the Cuban and it was crispy with the perfect ratio of mustard pickles pulled pork and ham it is also a must get. If I could give six stars I would.
Sadly we probably won't be back. The owner's daughter decided to mop the floor as soon as we got our food. She didn't understand, it make everything taste like cleaner. I tried to explain to her nicely what happens but she yelled at me "Have a nice meal" very sacastically and we took our food to go. Customers walked out as she did this. I was so upset I cried for about 30 min, the mother/owner did apologize and said she would 'Make Her' daughter apologize - but who wants that? Food was delicious for a fast food restaurant. I liked the selection of dishes and the price was reasonable. Everyone behind the counter smiled and greeted us quickly.
The food is very good, the service is generally good, most of the employees are very nice. The owner's daughter, however, is a bit of a terror. We had a run in with her and her mop bucket and left with my partner in tears the girl was so nasty. It's the owners daughter, she's not going to get fired, so honestly I can only recommend this place exclusively for take out. As much as I love their food I doubt that I'll return.
