We went yesterday after looking up Cuban restaurants around Santa Clara. It didn't disappoint. A cute little place, near the 101 freeway. Everything, ropa vieja, vaca frita, rice, black beans, yuca fries, was delicious. I'm holding back the fifth star because the cook went a little overboard with the salt for my taste. Sometimes less is more. But we'll be back for sure.
Not what I expected. Terrible considering their reputation for Cuban foods.

The food is excellent! The restaurant is spotless. The owner is gracious, the staff helpfu! The decor artistic and interesting. The music just a little too loud for visiting while you’re dining. Even the other diners are friendly! I shall return!
If Cuban Kitchen were a person, I'd ask it to marry me. My absolute favorite place to eat in the bay area next to my mom's house...& they're giving her a run for her money.
