Love It! Come have a civilized night downtown! – Me and the grown-up girls finally got a "night out" planned and came for Martinis & Manicures--what fun! They certainly know how to treat a lady, and the cocktails were great. Trust me, this place is a class act, from the good bar service (hotties too) to the personal table visit from the manager. We ahd an awesome time. I'm so glad to find a nice place to go have fun that's not a college-shot bar or music-too-loud-to-talk bar. We also split some appetizers, and I recommend th... read more

Avoid Party Planning – Recently planned a party there (or at least tried to). Didn't know that the corporate office did the party planning, not the bar. There was a huge lack of communication between the office and the bar and my reservations were completely messed up. I reserved the patio, instead they put my party in a corner booth (and have you ever tried to fit 10 people into a booth? It's not pretty.), and I was told by the manager that night that they "dropped the ball" because they weren't told that the patio was supp... read more

Don't forget your fake tan – This is the place to go if you are a sorority girl addicted to fruity drinks and fake tan. Not my scene, but if you're into that kind of thing then you'll really like Cuba Libre.

Simply Fantastic!!! – My wife & I went to Cuba Libre and loved it! Having Lived on the west coast for years, we've become accustomed to great food. And, Cuba Libre has great food! We had a shrimp appetizer, seasoned pork and shredded beef (ropa vieja) for dinner, and tres leches for dessert. Each item rated a perfect 10 in my book. And, the portions were so huge, it was enough for two meals each. Our waiter was excellent as well. The only drawbacks were the limited parking and the "ordinary" interior. That said, the food is ... read more

Sublime tapas flavor this sleek lounge in the heart of the Warehouse District. – In Short Warm golden walls, wood interior and hanging wrought-iron and glass lamps provide a relaxing backdrop. Meanwhile, a wall-length leather banquette and low, candlelit tables encourage intimate conversation among the eclectic crowd of young professionals. A long "floating bar" down the center of the room provides additional seating and is perfect for larger groups. The limited menu consists of soups, salads and an array of tapas like crab ... read more

I had a great time! – I went on a Thursday night at around 10 20 and had dinner and drinks. The service was not as bad as I expected, there were two servers taking care of us. People there are very attractive, in their mid 20s and then a bit older... some younger. The drinks were pricey but worth it, I had two and I was done in. The Bombones martini was awesome and the Flirtini was delicious. The crab and mushrooms was the best thing we tried. The calamari was delicious. The pork empanadas were lacking to me... they breading... read more

Love it! – I loved this place. From the moment you step in and the curtains pull aside automatically... I was in Austin visitn a friend and had saw this place on citysearch and was glad we tried it out. Drinks are good, you can purchase and smoke a cigar, and you if you get one of those seats along the wall...do. The only downside was that one of the hostesses, was letting everyone know that we were to only order drinks from her. Imagine that. She took forever to get around to us, so we helped ourselves at the bar.

HELP ME! – We keep trying Cuba, but no more. 9 times out of 10 we can't get served to save our lives. I could understand if they were slammed when we were there but they weren't. When we do get served it is ususallly with a side order of attitude. I won't pay for that any more. Take some advice STAY AWAY!!!!

WARNING: Tapas are appetizers!...but are delicious nonetheless. – "Tapas" are Spanish appetizers (Spain). Usually, tapas bars specialize in drinks while the food is secondary, so to make a meal out of tapas patrons usually order two or three. Wake up to high octane CUBAN COFFEE. Savor PORK EMPANADAS served with chocolate mole, saffron rice and black beans. CUBAN RIBS are cooked in Coca-Cola and served with mashed potatoes and plantains.
